Style #70! Bottle... not sure of the vintage. As expected, a slightly hazy rather pale golden pour. Not too exciting to look at. Very pungent aroma of horse blankets, vinegar, manure, and tart lemons. Lemons, leather, must, and green apple were all present in the flavor. Fruity tartness and sourness were the most dramatic components of the palate... along with a significant level of acidity. Finish was crisp, dry, and quite refreshing. The lack of carbonation felt odd at first, but really allowed the flavor to develop across the palate. This was quite enjoyable.

Pours with an orange-gold body topped by a thin to medium thick head with little lacing. It’s sour, tart and full of horseblanket with a nice underlying fuitiness. Very nice. Medium bodied, smooth and crisp.

2001 "Bio" vintage.
Golden peach, with little to no head to speak of.
Boy do I love the aroma of the stuff that comes out of this brewery...Pepper, mint, and just plain barnyard, dusty attic with cobwebs funky!
It’s smoother than some of the other Cantillons I’ve had the previlege to sample in the past, it’s not as astringent and mouth-puckering as I would like, but still has a nice refreshing acidity.

Robe dorée foncée sans mousse ni effervescence. Arômes sûres et acides. Saveurs sûres de blé, acides d’agrumes.

Slightly murky orange straw body with no head. Fruit notes in the taste mainly citrus, grapefruit, orange, lemon and a bit of green apples.Tart but not stand out and also sour. Not as good as the Iris.

Fruity nose, with vinegar, sourness and a dusty cheesyness. Clear golden body, with tiny bubbles, comepletely flat. Wonderful flavor, very tart and sour, yet very fruity and fresh, lots of lemon and grapefruit.

Bottled. Thanks to Dixen. This is a great Lambic. Very clean and pure. A lot of fruity tones everywhere in this. It is, in my opinion, on of the most sour lambics. A great beer.
