COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a huge, Pacific Northwest hop aroma & character upfront, Storm King subsides into massive, roast malt complexity. More flavor than mere words can adequately describe. Rich and substantial, it will warm your heart.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2023 I poured it from the bottle into a stout glass. It pours a very dark brown with a tan head and lacing. The aroma is coffee, dark chocolate, smoke, and leather. The taste is coffee, chocolate, earthy hops, toast, smoke, and molasses. This has nice complexity and balance. There's a lot of nice flavors and aromas. The bitterness is pretty intense. It's balanced by a nice sweetness. This is good. It finishes bitter and dry. It lingers quite a bit.

Arbitrage411 (343) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 7, 2022
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2022 Sizeable chocolate milk, caramel color head over black brown opaque pour. Rich lacing with this full fluffy and long lasting head of different creamy textures. Fragrance of dark fruits, cocoa and roasted malt. Chocolate instant taste. The wet mouthfeel changes with the superior warming. A dark pastry on the palate along with an imperial numbing on the tongue and jaw. Semi dry finish.

We had this at home in January 2022. We had it in a bottle that we purchased from Binny’s. It says it is an imperial stout but it taste like an IPA to me and I did not care for it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2021 I purchased this 12 oz bottle at the local beer store earlier today. Pulling the cap before pouring into my Cowtown tulip glass. Dark brown in color with a decent head of light tan foam. The nose is hoppy with chocolate lurking behind. I take a drink, wood, bitter chocolate, burnt pecans, grain, hops and molasses. A full drink, not what I hoped. Expected something more memorable.

UPDATED: FEB 13, 2021 Covid quarantine nightcap.

Pours a very dark brown, maybe even black color. Small beige head. Reduces to only around the rim.

Aroma is vanilla, light cocoa, moderate coffee. Maybe a touch of whiskey.

Taste is vanilla. Touch of chocolate, coffee, hint of berry. Hint of whiskey.

Mouthfeel is full bodied. Alcohol twinge.

Overall, it’s good. Not at all what I was expecting, I’m a little disappointed. I’d probably recommend it and would buy it again.
