Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUL 10, 2018from the brewery - hazy pale golden beer with a white foam left; aroma of coriander, hay and Rivella; smooth carbonation, thin-bodied, clean and tart sour palate; gently lactic fruity finish with more notes of coriander and wheat - fresh and well-crafted
anstei (3818) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 6, 2018Bottle from the brewery. Pours clear pale golden. Aroma is slight coriander and spices, some malts but generally super soft on the nose. Body is light and crisp and tart and sour, not overwhelming but all very balanced and pleasant. No particularly outstanding features, just a straight classic Berliner Weisse. Lacto is there, hints of yoghurt too, feels like some fruit but that might just be hops. A lot like a not-so-sweet Rivella, if you know that Swiss soft drink. A decent summer downer.
