On tap. An above average German larger. looks good in the glass, a strong staw blonde body, small head. I found it almost acidic, which I supose comes from the hops. Very clean, very German - a slightly lemony citrus after taste. Not Bad.

Had this as König Ludwig Hell. Bottle looks good, the same as the beer in the glass. Starts hoppy-fresh, also quite malty. Wonderful spicy and keeps it till the end. Finish is milder, but not washy, still fine spicy and a bit earthy notes. Not bad!

On tap at the Katzenjammer place in Borough Market. Clean gold colour, think white head. Clean, cold and lovely. It’s a cold lager. Cool

A Mes rate. Keg at Katzenjammer during Kook crawl.
Perfect clean gold with a thin white head. Fresh and drinkable. Just a crisp light lager with some gentle malt and a good hoppy finish with restrained bitterness. Nice

Bottle (as KLH): Golden with a greenish sheen, visible carbonation, smaller stable white foamy layer; strawy - slightly sourish - and grainy-dusty nose; light sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied and a bit fizzy; short sourish-strawy finish with a delicate bitterness. Drinkable, but boring......

(bottle) pours a clear yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of pale malts, some pleasant herbal hoppy notes and grain. flavour is lots of grain in the foreground, with a hint of butter and quite strong metallic notes. medium body, too strongly carbonated.

bottle, Real Weingarten. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty nose. Malty, grainy with some shy hop flavours and hints of cardboard.
