An above average German larger. looks good in the glass, a strong staw blonde body, small head. I found it almost acidic, which I supose comes from the hops. Very clean, very German - a slightly lemony citrus after taste. Not Bad. kappldav123 (2018), Markkleeberg, Germany
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 14, 2010 Had this as König Ludwig Hell. Bottle looks good, the same as the beer in the glass. Starts hoppy-fresh, also quite malty. Wonderful spicy and keeps it till the end. Finish is milder, but not washy, still fine spicy and a bit earthy notes. Not bad! harrisoni (7113), Ashford, Kent, England
