UPDATED: JUL 13, 2021 500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. My first Altbier. Pours a clear dark brown/mahogany with small off-white head, some retention. Aroma is malty, caramel, raisin, light grassiness. Taste is not intense but is semi-sweet, bready, burnt toast ends, light caramel, and grassy bitterness in the finish. A standard medium body and carbonation. Not bad.
