From bottle at Simplyfine, Thun. Pours a chestnut brown with a large tan colored head. The aroma is spicy and floral with distinct herbal notes of pink pepper while the roasted malt is in the background, some toffee and cocoa. Light to medium body with an average carbonation, a light sweetness and a light bitterness along with a slightly tingling spiciness toward the finish. The flavor is lightly malty with some chocolate, caramel, hints of bitter hoppy herbal notes and floral pepper. I really like the pepper flavors, particularly in the smell, but overall a little too thin. The malt body does not really support the pepper flavors.
