Commercial Description:
As with all Gueuzes, Hanssens is a mixture of several vintages to produce a lambic which is refreshingly fruity.

This is the result of blending different lambics of different ages. The second fermentation takes place inside the bottles and therefore they are stored for minimum six months in constant temperature kept cellars.

Pours hazy orange with a foamy white head. Aroma is vinegar, lemon, lime, and some floral notes. Taste is grain and lemon; prety acidic and refreshing.

75 cl. deep golden color, a lot like cider. Controlled aroma, barnyard funk, lemon, a bit of lactic acid, some tannin and stones. Controlled sourness on the tongue, lemon, crystall shards, wood, a bit of funk. Some nice grainy sweetness as well. Very mellow and drinkable. Huge fermentation for a Gueuze--nice! There is also a strange flavor, such as fried scallops, in the long-run after taste.

750ml bottle. no age date on bottle. just a slight haze in the bronze/gold colored beer that sits under a medium sized fluffy white head. aroma of white grape juice and a far off funkiness. flavor is moderate to punchy sour. white grapes, oak barrel, peaches. light body. juicy. low to medium carbonation.

Hazy orange beer, some sparkling. Quite thick head. The aroma is a bit berryish at first , somewhat woody and acidic in the finish. Sritzy lemon in the middle. Dry, acidic taste of vomit and barnyard. Quite strong, dry oakiness int the finish with minor bitterness. Sturdy palate is tart. The finsih is delicate but a bit thin. Clearly less dry and acidic, more fruity gueuze. Mellow and quite soft drink.

Pours light orange with thin white head, aroma is huge sour tart with some lemon. Taste up front is a bit of citrusy lemon and citrus that turns mouth puckeringly sour and tart with a very dry finish. Can tell it was aged for a long time, very good sour brew if you want sour!
