UPDATED: JUL 27, 2022 On tap at Plevna. A bit hazy dark golden with a medium head. Hops, grapefruit, some caramel and malt. Nicely bitter.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2020 Thx to Jussi for this bottle. Clear, deep amber color and a nice white head. Restraint nose, faint dried fruits, malty, something herbal. Taste follows the nose. Nice hoppy-piney finish.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2020 Bottle, many thanks rosenbergh! Hazy orange color with eggshell head. Aroma is piney, earthy-herbal hops, toasted malts and caramel. Silky mouthfeel with rather high carbonation. A bit sticky-sweet.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2019 Thanks japppp for sharing! Clear amber body with a thick, foamy and persistent white head. Aroma is hoppy (resin) and malty (caramel, some almonds). Taste is bitter, piney, but with a pleasant malty base. Dry resinous finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, slicky texture.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2019 Kuparin värinen lasissa jättäen korkeahkon vaahdon. Tuoksu on hedelmäinen ja maltainen, ei niinkään kovin sitruksinen. Maussa humala ei pure niin kovaa kuin ehkä voisi, mutra kyse on silti hedelmäisestä, helposti juotavasta IPA:sta.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2019 Bottle, courtesy of japppp, thanks! Pours unclear amber. Aroma is pine needles and resin, dominant malt nose, some grass. Body is medium, mostly bitter with some backbone, but not too much. Medium carbonation, lots of pine and resin again. Rather dry palate. Good, but with rough edges.

On tap at Plevnan, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of biting piney hops upfront, with crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is quite bitter, with piney hops upfront dominating, with a dry biscuity malt backbone. Bitter and biting, but tastefully so. Very good.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2018 Hieman turhan vetinen. Ehkä kesäpäivän janojuomana hyvä, mutta omaan makuuniplev voisi olla hieman reippaampi humalointi.

Tap@plevna. Golden color with lacing off-white head. Aroma has malt, citrus, pine. Taste is malty with long bitter and quite dry aftertaste. Flavors of malt, pine, caramel and citrus.
