Nowhere’s near as strong and bold in scent or taste as other hefeweizens I’ve had, but still a quality beer.

On Tap. Very orange, small head that’s loose for a Hefe. Rather weak tasting, not much wheat coming through. Pleasent, but there are many, many better examples of the style.

12 oz. bottle. Purs a slightly cloudy orange/yellow color with a huge foam-capped white head. Vibrant aroma of yeast, wheat, clove, and other spices. Nice mixture of flavors that include wheat and banana. Creamy texture with soft carbonation and a tasty finish. A nice hefeweizen.

355ml bottle into a pilsner glass. Pours with a TON of cloudy head. Head never totally dissipates and doesn’t leave much lacing at all. Aroma is of tart banana with a hint of alcohol and clove. Mouthfeel is spot on for a wizen, thick and creamy but slightly less than I expected. Tastes of banana and clove and a bit of cardamom. However, the flavor is where this beer falls flat. It didn’t really do anything for me. All the flavors are too mild and left the beer tasting kind of watered down. It’s easy drinking with a good aroma but I can’t say much else good about this. One possible issue is that the bottle was almost a year old, that could have caused the subdued flavors. If I ever find a fresh bottle (a big IF, in the States) I’ll re-rate. Otherwise, I was unimpressed.

A fantastic wheat beer that pours a cloudy yellow. This was the first hefe weisse that I noticed. I had drank other ones, but this one tasted great. I have to thank this beer for opening my eyes.

500ml bottle from SAQ. poured into weizen. a gorgeous cloudy pale orange with a huge creamy white frothy head, loads of lacing. aroma is banana and a bit of yeast. herbs and spices, wheat and a mild hops finish. feels thick on the palate. this is my favorite hefeweizen, and the beer that actually got me started on quality!

Pours a hazy yellowish gold with a nice off white frothy head that slowly dissipates. A light aroma with a light sweet taste to start and a nice finish with noticeable carbonation. Overall a very nice smooth drinking beer

Tap. Hazy yellow-orange pour, white head. Citrus, spice, and wheat aroma and taste. Somewhat carbonated. Enjoyable brew.
