| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jan 20, 2010 On Tap. Very orange, small head that’s loose for a Hefe. Rather weak tasting, not much wheat coming through. Pleasent, but there are many, many better examples of the style. jjuf1853 (512), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA

Vibrant aroma of yeast, wheat, clove, and other spices. Nice mixture of flavors that include wheat and banana. Creamy texture with soft carbonation and a tasty finish. A nice hefeweizen. dagimp (156), Philly, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 16, 2010 355ml bottle into a pilsner glass. Pours with a TON of cloudy head. Head never totally dissipates and doesn’t leave much lacing at all. Aroma is of tart banana with a hint of alcohol and clove. Mouthfeel is spot on for a wizen, thick and creamy but slightly less than I expected. Tastes of banana and clove and a bit of cardamom. However, the flavor is where this beer falls flat. It didn’t really do anything for me. All the flavors are too mild and left the beer tasting kind of watered down. It’s easy drinking with a good aroma but I can’t say much else good about this. One possible issue is that the bottle was almost a year old, that could have caused the subdued flavors. If I ever find a fresh bottle (a big IF, in the States) I’ll re-rate. Otherwise, I was unimpressed. Leafs93 (53), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

This was the first hefe weisse that I noticed. I had drank other ones, but this one tasted great. I have to thank this beer for opening my eyes. godofsky (54), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
