Rated on 6-11-2016 at The Berg Ale Haus, Huntington, IN. The appearance of this draft beer is a small cream head that mostly diminished, transparent golden body, no visible carbonation observed, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is malt, alcohol, spicy, sweet, light grass, bready, and toasty. The flavor is lightly bitter, sweet, malt, spicy, light fruit, light yeast, bready, toasty, and light floral hops. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. A quaffable beer that is just so-so all around. Nothing all that bad, but nothing all that great.

This draft brew from a beer bar poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent orange colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was malty and sweet. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering malty aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of sweet and malt. Not one that I would likely drink again.

On tap at Brothers Beer Bistro (Ottawa, ON). Slightly hazy, golden body with a thin, lasting, white creamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with brown sugar, fruity, and some subtle woody hints. Its well balanced taste carries oaky, barley, and brown sugar notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet, moderately warming finish. Average Bock.

(bottle, many thanks to blasphemer for this contribution!) clear deep golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of bread dough and vanilla icing, with a light touch of banana skins, gletschereis, some bubble gum, raisins and bran flakes. flavour is mostly dark fruit, roasted malts and yeast, quite chalky, with some more raisins, a touch of ethanol and a heavily starchy finish. heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle shared during Scopey’s 30th. Pours clear very pale yellow with a bubbly white head. The aroma holds cheap cereal, white bread. Big sweet flavor with oily alcohol, honey, cereal, bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, sugary and boozy. So so.
