| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 14, 2008 Bottle. Small white head that mostly diminished, splotchy amounts of lacing, transparent, visible carbonation, and a yellow hue. Nose was honey, sweet, oranges, and malt. Ditto for the flavor along with a somewhat crisp, refreshing flavor. Tingly mouthfeel and medium in body. Might be okay on a hot, humid summer day, but other than that, it did not leave me wanting this one again. Not a bad beer, just nothing special, rather dull and boring to drink. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 21, 2008 12oz bottle: Pours to a mostly clear, very slightly hazy marigold-yellow body with small bubbles rising quickly to meeting the small, white, quickly fading head. The aroma is pale malts, mashed corn, wheat, and a hint of orange rind. Taste is roasted corn and wheat up front, with some honey and dry orange rind coming through towards the middle. The taste is somewhat marred for me by the corn/adjunct flavor and that combined with the honey for adds an almost plastic-flavored sweetness that I personally don’t like. Light bodied, Medium-lively carbonation. An encouraging step in the right direction for Coors, but it’d be nice if they actually attempted to brew a real craft beer instead of a mass-market hybrid. Poured a hazy golden with a moderate frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate sweet citrus aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet citrus flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. Soft summer brew worth trying once. yayforbeer (655), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 30, 2007 It must be some crazy fad, seems like everybody is brewing a honey beer. This one is not an especially good example, but it is refreshing and drinkable. Faint musty honey aroma. Flavor of wheat, sweet honey, citrus, and a bit of that same blue moon funk as in the Belgian wit. Not bad, but not enticing, either. Papsoe (15969), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Medium-bodied, sweetish honey, almonds and cardboard. Dry and lightly sulphurous finish with a sticky honey note that comes late. 060709 WhiteAlePower (91), Long Island, New York, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 25, 2007 I am thinking more and more that Blue Moon is sacrificing something with their brews. The original is great, but all these offshoots are nothing but sub-par! Yes, you can detect the honey aroma, which is nice, but it is almost too subtle when drinking it. I had a 6 pack of 12 oz bottles. The beer was relatively drinkable, but left me yearning for more flavour. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 26, 2007 12oz bottle pours golden with a slight haze and a pretty large foamy offwhite head. Aromas of slight clove, some honey, and a touch of orange peel. Flavor is quite sweet with honey and you can definitely get the orange peel strongly upfront too. Pretty well carbonated with a fizzy mouthfeel. Just like the winter and the spring ales from blue moon the flavors seem quite artificial to me.
