UPDATED: JAN 22, 2020 EIn sehr dunkles Bier, das aber recht platt süß ist. Es mag nette Röstmalznoten haben, aber kann nicht wirklich hervorstechen und bleibt auf dem Niveau eines einfachen Industriebiers, das es ja auch ist.

330ml Bottle: Pours a brilliantly clear dark brown, almost red with frothy tan head. Lacing. Aroma of malt, fruit and some bready notes. Flavours of caramel and biscuit. Bitterness is quite low, giving the beer a sweet finish. Medium low body with medium carbonation. Overall a bit sweet for me.

Aroma: Medium dark malts, dark fruits, prune, toasted bread, Light chocolate. Very light spicy hops. Appearance: Brilliant, dark brown body. Medium tan head, low retention, fading to a ring. Flavour: Medium toasted bread, Light chocolate, Balanced towards the malt. Medium-light bitterness. Dry finish with lingering chocolate and toasted bread. Mouthfeel: Medium body, Medium carbonation. Overall: Clean, complex, very good! 330 ml bottle, poured. 8A. Munich Dunkel

Bottle at Zurich airport, Swiss Lounge. Brown body with medium head. Nose is malts, brown sugar, toasty. Taste is malty and caramel and dark fruits and brown sugar. Some hop in there and a bitter finish. Decent.

Cola kleur met een kleine kraag. Ruikt zoetig, mout, drop. Smaakt zoetig, salmiak.

Appearance: dark red, brown, clear, tan foam, minimal head. Aroma: bread, mead, humidity. Taste: medium sourness, lightly bitter. Palate: average carbonation, medium body, thin feel, creamy, very light bitter and astringent aftertaste.

Fat. Mörk bärnstensfärgad med ett smutsvitt skum. Dofter av karamell, malt och gräs. Smakinslag av malt, karamell, russin och skog. Mild och bitter avslutning.

On tap at Johanniter, Zurich. Deep amber brown colour, white head. Malty, caramel, sweetish, a hint of hop spice no more, clean , drinkable, goes well with stodgy pork dishes, yeah not bad. Solid.

Pours a dark brown color. Aroma and taste are caramel with some nutty hints.
