This beer was exceedinlgy carbonated, it looked almost alive with an active head. Aroma of flowers, honey, soap. Dry with a bit of banana taste. Very mild flavor. Good, not great.

From a bottle from Bottleworks, Seattle. Clear as straw, bubbly with a white constellation head. Clarity more pilsner-esque than like a triple. Electric stream of bubbles. Despite this appearance, carbonation was well-balanced. Dry and bitter midway through. A little bite at the end.

Bottle. Very white and foamy head. Light yellow body. Decent, and has a very nice spice aroma and flavor. With me it’s a hit or miss with many tripels, but this one was very nice.

Bottle literally gushered upon opening. Rescued 1/3 of the bottle in a tulip. Massive bright white head leaves spider lacing as it recedes. Sweet caramel aromas. Sweet and spicy from front to back. A little flattened due to the gusher, but I I liked what I was able to save...

Pours lemony yellow w/ full spritzy beachball froth. Superb hangtime with a lasting full lace. Aroma is slightly sour and citrusy. Light to medium nectar w/ ample residul effers. Flavors are mild for a Tripel w/ peach pit, lemon rind, and slight banana. Steely and mildly souring bitter on the finish. Makes the back sides of my tounge tingle. Overall: as with the Petrus line, the flavors are mild. A decent brew.

11.2 oz bottle-pours a light golden color w/a moderate foamy white head which lasted forever. Fruity, sweet belgian aroma. Flavors of fruit, citrus, yeast, spice & orange peel. Not as sweet as it smells, a little dry actually. Maybe a slight grapelike feel. Long, dry, spicy finish. Good stuff.

Pours a hazy, copper, golden color with a full, brilliant white, pillowy, fluffy head; it settles to a fairly small, creamy, foamy bit and leaves small amounts of lace. Nose is citrusy out of the bottle with lemon and mandarin ornage; other more subtle notes include banana esters, lots of doughy yeast, light candi sugar, faint herb notes, and a touch of honey. Flavor is sweet and less complex than the nose; lots of candi sugar and some honey, doughy yeast, light white pepper notes, and corriander. Palate is nice with a creamy texture, a medium to mudium-full body, and a lively carbonation. Finishes fairly long with a mild bitterness (for a tripel), a touch of dryness, lingering yeasty notes, and some faint citrus and herb notes (thyme?). A fairly standard example of a tripel but nothing to make it unique. Too much citrus in the nose for me, and too much sweet notes in the flavor for me. Not bad by any means but far less superior than other Belgium brewers.
