| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 20, 2004 Bottle pours a translucent straw color, large white pillow of a head, soft carbonation, with very sticky lacing. Sweet grass, malts, slight grain on the nose. Somewhat sweet up front, followed by malty & grassy flavor. Not as crisp or refreshing as I was expecting from a pilsner, but its rather full bodied with a good mouthfeel. A heavier Pilsener, and there is nothing wrong with that.   Finishes with a sweet grassy malt flavor. Not bad!

Pure averageness. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Aug 1, 2002 An above-average effort at macro-swill from this Belgian brewery more known for their masterful witbier. I’ve not much to say about this beer, I’m afraid. Suttree (2821), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 13, 2003 Pale Yellow, pleasent citrus/hoppy aroma. Crisp and dry, with an unassertive but decent hop flavor. No aftertaste to speak of. Not great, but better than I was anticipating. IrishBoy (2790), Bakersfield, California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 26, 2007 12 oz can from Westchester Liquors; nose of wheaty grain with grassy hops; pale gold with a big white head; flavor has some pepperiness, light malt, and very light hop bitterness in the finish. Decent Pils! nick76 (2749), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Feb 24, 2007 The aroma has malt, yeast, and herbal hops. The appearance is pale gold with a fairly large sudsy head. The flavor is like corn and paper with light astringent hops. The palate is thin and typical for the style with a light soapy aftertaste. This beer is beyond it’s best before date by several months so maybe thats why it’s so boring and blah. It’s drinkable but just barely. mabel (2746), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Clear, yellow body with a big quick foamy bubbly head and some lacing. More hay and sweet corn straw and yeast in the flavour. Light-medium body. Bland but better with something like dinner than on it’s own.
