(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, golden with a white head. Light aroma of floral hops. Medium body with a fairly clean malt base and a dry, hoppy finish. Not exactly thrilling but fairly clean and more regular than your typical Kiwi lager. 280108

Bottle. Clear yellow gold, white foamy head. First aroma to greet the nose unfortunately is a strong metallic note, like you’re sniffing the cap instead of the brew. That metallic aroma also is present on the palate, competing with the grainy aroma, and a slight sourish note. Quick finish. My least favourite of the Aotearoa brews.

Bottle, poured a hazy dark gold with a filmy head. A fairly typical sweet caramal aroma with a touch of hops. A very dry palate, with a full malt body which is just a little grainy.

On tap at Manakau Festival. Pours a clear light yellow with no head. Light sweetness. Moderate bitterness. Malty aromas of straw and a hint of caramel. Some grassy and slightly citric hopsaromas with a floral hint. Light to medium bodied. Dry finish. Seems like a very clean brew.

Bottle. Honey golden color with lace. Huge honey aroma, fruity and very sweet and cloying. Sweet, honey and pilsner malt flavor; light hops, slightly tangy. Very sweet, cloying. Light body. Somewhat saved by a slightly dry finish.

Bottle - 330ml. Blond body with good carbonation and a diminishing white bubbly head. Its corny/malty aroma carries some metallic hints. Malty/hoppy taste with some unpleasant corny, metallic and CO2 notes. Ends with a short bitter finish. Not impressed.

I’ve had this one in New Zealand on my honeymoon.
Golden colored. A bit too light.

Bottle. Pours pale yellow with diminishing white head. Citrus, grassy aroma. Sweet, fruity flavours, low bitterness with a thin watery finish.
