Head really is magnificent here. Sweetish aroma, yeasty, spicy, lemon peel, orange and coriander. Sour and bitter in both middle and end phase. Hops are out of control here - fruits are covered over by the bitterness. Didn’t quite expect this, a lot of fun to drink. Extremely dry finish. Excels. GonZoBeeR (2204), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 10, 2006 Bottle. Hazy white-yellow with a large creamy white head. Nice spicy aroma - cereal, dusty, pepper, and sour fruits. Calm palate that is reasonably dry. Triple-esque in flavour with expected cereal and lactic fruity notes. On the other hand though it’s not too sweet which I quite enjoyed. SHIG (2099), Aviano, Italy
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Bottle: Poured a murky orange with floaters, the head is white and thick. Aroma is yeasty with spices. The taste is rich caramel malt with nice hoppy spices. Leaves a dry veggie finish with sweet sugar. Another fine De Dolle product. TAR (2098), Boulder Co., Colorado, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 12, 2005 Updated: Nov 29, 2005Hazy banana gold. Signature De Dolle foam. Fat, sticky, pure-white foam generates dense clumps of cream. Heavenly scents of honeycomb, lavender, rosehips, lemony hops, and doughy yeast leap from the glass. Peppery phenols awaken as it sits. Equally fluffy and expansively effervescent. Yeasty body films the tongue. First sip yields a palate clasping mixture of doughy yeast, ashen oak, and bread flavored malt dust. Trace honeycomb sweetness comes and goes. Spicy aniseed and minty alcohol dryness enhance the pervasively musty yeast character, which, along with the lush malt frame, pillars the body, throughout. Remarkably structured. Fruitiness is squelched by the peppery dryness and brash hop character. Heavily herbaceous, showing oodles of lavender over a leafier herb punch as things progress. Finishes with a late wave of understated phenolic dryness alongside smidgens of white pepper and a salty herbal-hop brush, as lavender and doughy yeast steadily soften the lasting aniseed sting. Rustic but elegant. Another De Dolle classic. radiomgb (2077), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 22, 2007 Golden orange in colour, very large and lingering white head, awesome lacing - typical from De Dolle. The aroma is very fruity, lots of yeast, lemon rind, quite spicy, noticable apple. The flavour is very musty with lots of yeast, bready malts, orange citrus, floral and spicy. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, medium body, high carbonation. Finishes very long, great lingering spiciness. Pretty good, another crazy beer from De Dolle.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 5, 2007 Bottle from Cracked Kettle. Hazy yellow with large foam. Tastes remarkably like an IPA - prickly, citrusy, spicy. Lots of fruit tastes. Then it moves into Tripple catagory becoming a bit sweeter, lacy and bitter towards the finish. Very good.
