This $7.99 a sixer bottled brew marked best before 04/01/07 from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was caramel malt and malt hop. The crisp semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a biting caramel aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of hops and caramel. There is definitely some flavor in this one. Well done Matt! A decent one that is now one of my regular session beers.

Jan 26, 2010 This was a 12 oz bottle that poured a copper color with a moderate off-white head and light lacing. Nose of citrus hops Medium body and smooth mouthfeel. The flavor is of caramel malts, citrus and grassy hop bitterness. Nice bitter dry finish.

Dec 4, 2009 Very drinkable pale. Nice amber color with a heady pine aroma. The bitter/malt divide is pretty balanced leaving a smooth finish.

Jun 24, 2009 Copper, with a thick, loose, tan head. Caramel malt aroma. Medium-light body, with a sweet malt flavor and a flat mouth feel. Bitter, but not in a good way, too unbalanced.
