Commercial Description:
Created by Ken Smith, Colorado. Ken describes his brew as having "a refreshing light taste and cereal crispness from the wheat malt." This unfiltered ale has a rich, fresh fruitiness balanced by a citrus note from the Noble hops.

Cloudy apricot pulp body, medium off-white head with abundant lacing. Potent, sharp boysenberry aroma, quite appetizing, but I don’t have any pancakes at hand. Very surprising body; I expected a sharp tartness after smelling this a few times, but it presents with bitter fruitskin that complements, instead of overwhelms, the cerealy wheat and grassy hops. Creamy, soft mouthfeel. Count me as pleasantly surprised.

Bottle. Pours a copper body with a whit head. Awesome aroma of berries and fresh sliced fruit. Flavor is a bit more tame with wheat dominating and some candy sweetness, not bad.

Overall Impression: Out of the LongShot pack from I believe 2007? This was a weird and interesting beer. Old notes had it rated here, so I’ll just trust those...

Pours a clear golden color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet fruity boysenberry syrup, some malt poking through, and maybe some vanilla. Flavor is sweet boysenberry candy, malty, vanilla, and a slightly spicy finish.

Uck. Tasted like typical crappy fruit beers--like drinking the milk after a bowl of fruit loops. The worst part is the watery-ness. Insubstantial.

Bottle. Pours a two finger white head that fades to a lumpy layer leaving some lace. Cloudy amber color. Medium-strong carbonation and medium bodied. Sweet fruity nose. Flavor sweet boysenberry, hops are balancing, clean finish. Would make a good summer beer.

bottle. Drank this one when it first came out, so I am going off memory. Smelled fruity with a small hint of hops and malt. Tasted very good and fruity, a little overpowering, but I tried it along side a rotisserie chicken. Totally changed everything. Much better when paired with a good bird. The fruit dominance is tamed slightly light flavors of the chicken. Pretty good beer.
