White head with no lacing. Smells like green apples. Taste like green apple with no carbonation, malts, hops, but some water. Ha! Not that good.

Best looking beer I ever poured from an can. Guess it’s the widget but had it from the tap before also. The only beer that I love drinking the head. The taste is lacking and watery but very easy drinking. They bump up the alchohol for the US so it is truly a pub ale at 3.5 in UK. I really like the beer because it grows on you.

Draft at the Pub in Naples, FL. I have had this several times in the past. Pours golden with a nitro cascading head. Faint aroma pale malts and british ale esters. Light bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Very basic UK bitter with flavor of toffee and very subtle herbal/spicy hops. Balanced and simple, and nothing wrong with that in my book. I don’t mind nitro beers every now and then.

Pours from the can a amber gold with a nice head. Aroma is sweet malts and woodyness. Taste is of grains, mouthfeel is excellent as it is creamy and easy to drink.

Draught from Greens Discount. Pours a clear golden-brown with a very thin white head. Bready, cereal aroma with a hint of nuts and citrus. Flavor is fairly plain with a hint of some apple citrus up front, but mostly just a thin, crisp, malty cereal flavor. Boddingtons is alright but I’ve never been much of a fan. Just an ok macro.

4-pack of 440ml tallcans from the LCBO. "Widget" inside. I like Boddingtons. Not the most interesting beer in the world, and I do find it to be watery and flat in flavor, but that doesn’t take away from the fact I still enjoy them in a nice pint glass while watching the sports game. It’s not something I drink every day, or always have on hand, but I do enjoy it when I drink it. caramel and malt are the dominant smells and flavors to me. Watery and flat in mouth feel, and very smooth

Consuming pint #unknown of this stuff - I’ll take this at the pub over Smithwicks or Caffreys. Golden yellow with the classic thick creamy head and endless lacing. Mild sweet malty aroma with a touch of hops and a fruity aroma that blends in well. Lightly sweet malts and a well defined English hop finish (Goldings maybe?). Smooth as anything you can find on tap around here, it’s just a great feeling beer.

Pours light amber with a big head of tiny nitrogen filled bubbles. Aroma is malt and a touch of grassy hops. Mouth feel is creamy and smooth. Flavor is a bit light, but not unpleasant. A good beer when no craft is available.

Creamy head from the draught can. Amber in colour with some light caramel malt aromas. Light-medium bodied, clean crisp finish with nice hop balance but not much in the way of hop flavour.
