Commercial Description:
Black as coal with a creamy tan head, thick as the afternoon haze over Tel Aviv. Signature stout roastiness, soft like velvet with a little something extra (no, not date honey).

Bottle 33cl. @ LCRBM09 - Low Countries RateBeer Meeting V, Kulminator, Antwerpen, Belgium.
Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, hard roasted, burnt, coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090905]

A Mes rate. Bottle at LCRBM #5.
This was rather dull. Not much flavour but what there is is totally dominated by caramel. Faint bitterness in the finish but it’s not really enough to save it.

Bottle at LCRBM5. Yep, once again I seem to have missed the boat on this beer. Dind’t like it much, no real substance in the mouth, and lacked flavour.

@ LCRBM 2009. A dark brown colored beer, with a beige head. The aroma of chcoclate malts, caramel with some fruits. The taste of caramel with a little chocolate and overripe fruits. There is bitterness with a little sweet. The aftertaste is bittersweet.

Yellow to reddish head, fast gone over near-black beer. Roasted stout nose, very roasted but too light to be real coffee-ish. Sweet stout (not dry!), roasted grains, with a good tad of molasses. Well-bodied, if not really heavy; very long, sweet aftertaste. Misses cruelly some hops, the roasted bitterness being too lopsided - humulus lupulus too expensive in IR?

33 cL bottle, courtesy of DSG. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty, light metallic and breadish. Metallic and hardroasted malt flavoured. Roasted acidity. Way too overroasted. Bitter and slight metallic finish.
