Aroma is citrus fruit, yeast, ripe apple and spices. Flavor is sweet fruity, sugar, alcohol and some yeast. A very fizzy beer, but not in an unpleasant way, I believe this relatively thin body with a lot of sweetness and alcohol needs the carbonation to produce a certain balanced freshness, could easily become sticky. Quite nice right now. gnoff (3588), Göteborg, Sweden

Scent is smoke, alcohol and spices. Phenolic spicy taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Alcohol aftertaste, also banana. rickgordon (3407), Göteborg, Sweden

Hazy pale yello colour. Rich white head. Sweetish aroma with almond paste. Flavour is true to the style with sweet maltiness, almonds and alcohol sensed. Middle of the road-tropel still. ekstedt (2529), Göteborg, Sweden
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 29, 2007 Bottle. Hazy golden with a small white head. Weak malt aroma with a clear alcoholic touch. Light to medium bodied and a bit spritzy mouthfeel. Good balance, but thats the only positive thing to say about this dull beer. bboeckl (135), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 24, 2007 Light golden color. Sweet flowery aroma. Strong alcohol taste. A touch of fruit and floral. A good triple. Not extraordinary, though and since I brought this all the way from Belguim to the US, that is what I was hoping for.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Aug 20, 2007 Although ths beer had a light golden color with a very unremarkable aroma, the flavor was surprisingly tasty. Nothing really jumped out at me, but that isn’t uncommon for me with this style of beer. The finish, as with all triples I find, was just too bitter for my tastes and therefore knocked this beer down a couple of points. The alcohol does pack a punch, so I think a second or third pint off the tap would likely have a higher rating, and would likely help to make any evening a little more enjoyable. Bottoms up. tenghave (402), Taastrup, Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 20, 2007 Lys gul let uklar øl.
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 2, 2007 Slightly hazy with big sodabubbles-foam. Very promising aroma, fruitiness reminiscent of the yeast from Westmalle, but the taste does not follow up. Weaker taste than aroma. A bit sweetish finish and that is not what I like for a tripel.
