Aug 21, 2009 Dark amber with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and toffee notes. Flavour was sweet with roasted malt, caramel and toffee notes. Slight hop notes towards the end. Finished somewhat bitter.

Jan 21, 2009 Bottle. Poured a dark reddish brown with an off white head. Aroma was of toasted to burnt bread, with notes of earth and nuts. Flavor was a bit better than the aroma, which I was not a big fan of. A bit watery, but it seemd to work pretty well. Not a whole lot going on, but it was present. Roasted malt, cocoa and light caramel notes. Some light chalkiness in the finish. Ok.

Dec 28, 2008 On tap at Papago - Pours a deep reddish-brown color with a nice size of white head. Light lacing. Aroma is toasted malt. Flavor is light roasted malt. Light to medium body. Kinda boring. Just not alot happening with this beer. Decent enough.

Aug 27, 2009 It is reddish-brown with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and a whiff of cabbage. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, fruit, caramel and citrus in the slightly dry finish.

Aug 21, 2009 22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a fully gone head. Aroma is mild roasted malty to light breadish with a mild hoppy note. Dry, roasted and subdued bitter flavoured. Bitter, dry and roasted lingering into a dry persisting finish.
