The color is dark golden with slight yeast sediments floating around and a beutiful but collapsing white head. The flavor is very sweet - too sweet for my liking - with notes of spices and flowers to start off with but then turning into a strong honey taste towards the end. The very last impression of the aftertaste is still honey - in the shape of the sticky feel in Your mouth, that honey gives. It is the honey that makes this beer too sweet for me - I'd have liked it better if more of the sugar from the honey had been fermented. Papsoe (15977), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Hazy, orangey golden with a decent and rather dense head. Lightly perfumy flavours and a bit sticky. Light bitter finish. A nice, complex strong lager if not exactly the most sophisticated honey beer. 310398 yespr (13359), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, moderate honey. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. (Bbitternes is strange ala sour malt / honey bitter). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 25, 2008 Bottled. Hazy yellowish orange colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruits, flowers, wood and some mild sweetness. I can’t say I find any honey in the aroma. Some mild herbs/spices. Flavour is quite sweet malts along with some mild notes of honey and fruits. Also some mild earthyness in it. Aftertaste is fruity, nectary and some slight earthyness. Wellbalanced brew, which hides the alcohol well. MiP (9375), Sřnderborg, Denmark

Tastes like any average blonde with some vegetable and a very small hint of honey. Not spicy and a little boring. Get a bit more flavourful and cloudier toward the bottom of the bottle. joergen (9060), Frederiksberg, Denmark
