TedE (2680) - Glen Innes, AUSTRALIA - MAR 2, 2024UPDATED: MAR 2, 2024 Pint on tap at Orleans, Las Vegas. Crystal clear amber beer with a thin white head. The occasional bubble makes an appearance. Grainy nose. Super easy drinking, light body. Watery sweet finish. Inoffensive quaffer.
ostatnidzieciol (2440) - - FEB 17, 2024UPDATED: FEB 17, 2024 Jasnozłote, klarowne, piany brak. W aromacie rozpuszczalnik, słód. W smaku jako tako, nie za słodkie, goryczka minimalna, nawet pijalne. 3,5 za aromat.
ContemplateBeer (2092) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JAN 21, 2024UPDATED: JAN 21, 2024 First rate in 7+ years is a re-rate of this classic American light lager. Red berries, pear and lemon are part of the delicate aroma of this beer, supported by a touch of grainy sweetness. The appearance of this beer is golden with gentle wisps of carbonation; if anything, I’d wish for a little more head retention. Flavor, much like the aroma, leads with berries, pear and lemon, giving way to grains that seem drier than the aroma suggests. There’s little to no hop bitterness in the finish, which is notable for it’s more natural feeling carbonation compared to it’s peers. To me, this beer is the standard by which all other American light lagers should be measured.
TrappistRates36 (1410) - RANGIORA, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 12, 2024UPDATED: JAN 12, 2024 355 ml bottle from Karana , Kilkenny , Adelaide SA : Pale straw colour , strong bead ... aromatic wheaty nose , caramel ... malty palate , balanced ... finishes short , clean .
tfontana (5486) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 9, 2023UPDATED: DEC 10, 2023 Can pour. Aroma is clear, light sparkle, no head. Aroma is rice/corn. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, thin, average carbonation. Bleh.
AirForceHops (14953) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 9, 2023UPDATED: DEC 9, 2023 12 oz can. Aroma shows stale malt. Mild corn and a beautiful stale malt character. If you love, stale malt, this is the beer for you!
SHIG (13040) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - JUL 21, 2023UPDATED: JUL 21, 2023 Stubbi bottle: Drank from the bottle in Texas like a man with horns. Aroma is grain and taste is similar. Very smooth and wet.
DeathAdder (47) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 18, 2023UPDATED: JUL 19, 2023 It’s funny considering how much Boomers used to suck down Bud Light, Miller Lite, and Coors Light, that Coors Banquet has always gone so overlooked. Coors Banquet has a subtle banana flavor to it and tastes way better than the Light formula.
Alc/Vol: 5%
Price: Middle Shelf
Rating: 3.5/5
Arbitrage411 (330) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 21, 2023UPDATED: MAY 21, 2023 In Kolsch style glass an extremely pale to clear yellow hue. Visible bubbling. White fluffy head of shorter duration. Faint nose, though fresh. Head somehow remains. Very easy and watery down the hatch. Not unpleasant. A mass production so the filtration has removed any discernible nuance of taste. This is perhaps deliberate. Refreshing, small warming and the mouthfeel is unhindered. Smooth light finish.
justinb7116 (1) - quality, West Virginia, USA - JAN 2, 2023 does not count UPDATED: JAN 2, 2023 I love or loathe all the craft beer snobs that rate this beer up against their favorite IPA, DIPA, DDHIPA, Stout or Imperial Stout etc. They all say the same thing, it's good, I would drink it if it were free or I would drink it if there was no other option. They all do this in fear that they may be frowned upon by other CB Snobs. You guys are an awful excuse for those of us that have some sense. This beer is by far the best of the Macro beers. It's crisp, flavorful and easy to drink. You appear somewhat ignorant to rate this as compared to other styles. Banquet still delivers and has for quite some time. I have had over 3000 different beers, so I am very experienced in the craft industry. To frown on this beer shows your ignorance and inexperience. This beer paved the way for all of us on this site. This is my far the best of it's style and shame on many of you for not recognizing that. This is my go to beer for having around the house. As for experimentation, I try many other offerings. Stop being afraid of what others may think of you. Enjoy a Banquet, buy a friend a DIPA. Cheers
