Commercial Description:
Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

Golden color with filmy, white head. Hoppy aroma with tinges of lemon and grapefuit. Flavor is mildly bitter, lemony, and even a bit musty. (What yeasts did they use in there?... Could that have all come from the hops?) The citrus adds an element of rfreshment to a beer that nevertheless finishes bitter and dry. Great summer IPA for washing down a grilled burger.

Bottle bought at Utobeershop. Color is orange, amber with a sparkling white head. Aroma of hops and taste bitter and hoppy too. A classic IPA a bit too fizzy for the palate.

Bottle bonus thanks to aplusbreaks. Clear golden pour, quickly dissipating carbonation and a syrupy sweet hop aroma. Flavor is bitter orange, sweet hops and finished efferesent and creamy. Not bad!

Very enjoyable IPA. No harsh hoppiness...about as smooth as an IPA can be while still be hoppy. As close to a session IPA as you can get.

My favourite IPA without a doubt. A perfect blend of both fruits and citrus and complex! The beer hits initially like a good IPA should, with hops, and then transends into a fruity after taste finished off with a final taste of spices. I wish I still lived in Fort Collins so I could get this fresh.

Bottle thanks to jbye4334. Pours with a slightly hazed golden body and a large white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and hay. A bit of orange and a bit of an off dirty note. Taste is floral hops and juicy citrus. Pretty nice. Some ruby grapefruit. I like it! Light to medium bubbles. Dry finish. Quite smooth actually.

Draft at I-Tap in Chesterfield, MO. Pours a slightly hazed gold with white head. Nose is lacking in individuality. It’s a bit muddled and too floral, lacking resiny notes. Some sweetness pokes through as well. On taste, it’s a bit too sweet and not near bitter enough. Meh.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Color was orange with a white head. The smell was danky, resinous, and slightly pine. The smell is seriously hoppy. The taste was identical to the smell. Straight hop oils. Not much citrus, mostly dank. I was really surprised by this. this might be my new favorite from Colorado. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-16-2007 16:39:51

One of my 3-4 favorite IPA’s brewed locally here in CO. Lots of hops up front but not too overpowering. Very nice chewy mouthfeel that leaves the tongue sizzling. In my eyes this is Odell’s masterpiece.
