The appearance here is a really nice clear ruby copper color topped with a thick fluffy off-white head. Aroma is quite hoppy with some fruits and a much less noticeable malty note. Big hoppy flavor, tangy, sweet caramel malts, warming and finishes with some candy-like grapefruit hops. Sour hoppy aftertaste. Overall I found this to be an excellent beer.

Aroma: caramel, floral hops, a little boozy. taste: has very good sweet, caramel notions, with a good balance of the bitterness from the hops, with the ease of drinkability i’d give it a 10/10. espenra (317), Oslo, Norway

It poured a orange, slightly amber colour with a medium big white creamy head. Some carbonation. The aroma is hoppy and loaded with tropical fruits. Notes of citrus, flowers, and spices. Very inticing. The first thing you notice about the flavour is the IBUs and hops, and you can feel the beer grow a little in your mouth. At 100 IBU it is a bit dry and bitter of course, but not in a bad way. Notes of spices and citrus and some earth. It has a long, lingering aftertaste. A wonderful beer. Ygberg (130), Sweden

Pours golden amber in color with minimal head and a strong hop aroma.
Huge hop flavor. The bitterness slams you.
Very nice, though I’m not a huge barleywine fan.

Aroma is intensely hopped giving me high hopes for another highly hopped barleywine. This was the only small flaw here for me; I felt another round of hops would have made this an ideal barleywine. Slick body with oily qualities and great carbonation. graham515 (463), Houston, Texas, USA

Flavor is fantastic notes of caramel, a bit of minty green and nice bitterness. Medium to full bodied. Really nice barleywine. I wouldn’t expect anything less from these guys.
