Pours a decent dark ruddy pourThe nose and flavor are wood, cherries and a bit of soap.

12.7 oz bottle, corked & caged - 2007 version, fresh: extremely dark brown with cherry hues...ivory, small bubbled head. Sour cherry skin aroma, with darkly toasted, leathery components...also has notes of dark yeast and rye bread. Palate is smooth with subtle carbonation down the middle of the tongue. Rich cherries and dark ale flavours mix with a hint of spicy dough and orange peel. Finish is light, oaky and has touches of burnt cherries now...I really dig the attempt here, not totally authentic (but how could it be?) but has quite a few whisps and reminders and really points to a traditional lambic, even if it doesn’t really get all the way there.

Very dark pink and clear body. Off-white creamy full head. Aroma has dry wheaty cherries, maybe some butter too. Toasty dry woody sour cherries with some sweetness. Pretty good flavor, but needs more for me.

Aroma is a sour cheery scent. Color is a deep dark ruby with light carbonation and a nice tight head. Taste is dry and fruity. Starting with a medium body it goes down crisp with a tart feel. Finish comes in with mild sour cheery flavor, a faint yeast taste and a mellow sweetness, then ends with a dry almost wine like feel. This is a tasty Lambic with good cheery flavors.

Pours brown, with a bit of red. Aroma is sour cherries, malt, and wood. Flavor is wood, cherries, malt, and a touch of funk. Thanks to yem25 for this one.

375ml - 2007 - Aroma is classic lambic with lots of dark cherries, horseblanket funk and some red wine vinegar. Pours deep garnet with a big quickly fading head that leaves good lacing. Flavor is sweeter than aroma, but still sour and funky. Lots of tart cherries. Palate is tart and sticky. A great American lambic. If this is the "first in a series", then I’m excited for the rest of them.

F’in A, I wish I had that frickin’ john guy from the hampton inn to open my cork. Ruby red bodywith weird pink/white/brown head. Smells brett, sour, cherries, like a cherry blow pop. I taste cherry, acidic, and then bam theres the brett in the finish. It hits you in the back of throat and reaches up into the nose like wasabi. A tyypical thin body but no carb. I’m very happy with this brew by two brothers and I hope that this brew ages well. Jason (brewer) says that he saved some to be able to blend with the other lambics in the series.

From a 375mL Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with black cherry skin hues and a thin layer of fizzy tan head. Excessively sweet aroma of cherry syrup with a bit of a medicinal quality. Notes of chocolate and balsamic vinegar. Medium bodied, mildly spritzy carbonated mouthfeel. Very sweet cherry flavors with some funky oak and an almost nyquil-like spice quality. Heavy and sticky on the palate with earthy balsamic sourness and unpleasant spice. Overly sweet with a medicinal artificial cherry flavor and an unpleasant spicy quality that ruins the palate.
