COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As a continuation of North Coast Brewing Co.’s commitment to quality, our Old Stock Ale is crafted in the tradition of our critically acclaimed Pranqster Belgian Style Golden Ale and Old Rasputin Imperial Stout. It’s brewed with classic floor-malted Maris Otter Pale Malt and Fuggles Hops imported from England, so it’s a beer to be served proudly. Like a fine wine, North Coast’s Old Stock Ale is intended to be laid down. With an original gravity of over 1100 and a generous hopping rate, Old Stock Ale is well-designed to round-out and mellow with age. North Coast Brewing Co. Old Stock Ale is a vintage dated ale. We produce a small quantity each year and it remains available from release date until our stock is depleted.

Gwilbreuf (385) - FRANCE - MAR 3, 2023

BillWyce (1668) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 1, 2022
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2022 Bottle labelled as from 2017, so 4 years old when I had it. Pours opaque nut brown with some red in it. Lots of bubbling along the glass. Bone-colored 1-finger head. Honey-sweet note and fruit esters over a base of nutty malt. Full-bodied and thick, a bit on the syrupy side. The finish is long, with a bit of boozy astringency at the back. Flavor of nutty malt mixed with plum. Maybe some cherry. A bit of spice shows as it warms.

ramboraffe (3872) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - NOV 1, 2022
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2022 355 ml bottle from 2014 from my cellar. I think it was a gift back then. Pours dark copper with white head. Malty with bread and dried fruit. Madeira. Semi sweet with low to medium bitterness and soft carbonation.

simontomlinson (6597) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2022
UPDATED: SEP 24, 2022 Creamy tan head on a murky brown body. Fruity, hoppy & malt aroma. Full bodied, light over the tongue with a sticky end. Malt, sweet, caramel, berry, syrup & jam tastes with a big boozy pine & resinous finish. Tastes like a Lees Harvest Ale or Fullers Vintage - same style I presume. That's a great complex beer - not for the faint hearted.
