This blonde and slight sour ale is the result of a research combining Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Pediococus Cerivisae from Wyeast and some skills out of the Wild Woesten.
Special beer by Struise as a tribute to Lembeek brewers.

11.2 oz. brown bottle. No freshness date seen. Poured out a dark ginger color, with no head at all. Aromas are of Belgian funk, locker room, apple cider vinegar. Flavors are of wildflower honey, definite funk, slighty acidic vinegar. Thin body & mouthfeel. Finishes tasting like Sweet Tarts.

Scent is not terribly strong but what is there is quite good a lot of apple, funk, vinegar aromas with a little hay. The beer looks nice it is a hazy golden color without much head but a lively carbonation likened to a champagne. The flavor is particularly nice, the sourness and funkyness are delicious and very present however not overwhelming at all and gives way to nice tart fruity flavors well balanced with by the beer’s dominant dryness. The beer is very nice with a sharp palate and is very drinkable; I would drink a six pack of this if I could ever afford it.

12oz bottle thanks to pepsican – Perfect 10 trade. Cloudy amber pour. Wonderfully tart aroma with plenty of fruit and maybe some other light notes in there like wet hey and Belgian candy. The taste does not disappoint. Apple, pear and peach all soured together in a delicious creation. A bit lacking in depth of flavor (La Folie for example has more going on) but the sour blend is perfect. Tart medium bodied brew. Refreshing and delicious. Thanks for the bottle!

11.2oz bottle. Pours clear orange-golden; the off-white head settles rapidly to a thin ring of bubbles.Very enticing aroma, with wild yeast, white grapes, sour apple, and citrus, especially lemon. Flavor is sweet and fairly citric; lemon is the dominant flavor, nicely complimented by wild yeast and mild acidity. Tartness is more pronounced as it warms. Long, green apple finish. Not as intense as some other Struise offerings, but I found this to be incredibly refreshing and very drinkable. I wish I had a case of this stashed away for the summer. Great stuff!
Addendum 3/12/09: I had this again yesterday, and enjoyed it even more. I bumped both the flavor and overall impression up by a point.
Addendum 9/9/09: I enjoy this more and more each time I try it...or maybe its getting better with age.

11.2 ounce bottle in pint glass. Orange with ring head. Funky melon orange honey aroma. Very funky flavor with lingering funky funk nad some fruity sugar sweetness. Medium body and medium low carbo. Not really enough interesting beer flavor to support all that funk.

Hazy golden color with a thin white head. Dusty, yeast aroma with hints of white grapes and cider vinegar. Tart, bordering on sour. Slightly acidic, hints of lemon and grape skins and the finish is nice and dry.

Bottle from my good buddy nbutler11. What a treat! Nice floral, blonde aroma with the sourness just a hint at the nose stage. Flavor is fuller, more acrid and quite fruity. Finishes like a dry cider gone sour, which is what draws me to this beer - I am a sucker for Ciders. I was telling tales about this being in my Top 10 last night, which is patently untrue. But my Overall score is meant to signify that I will drink this anywhere, any time. Quite refreshing!

Cloydy and light yellow colour. Sourness but not much aroma. Some mild fruits and lemon taste. Average carbonation.
