Clear medium brown color with a small, virtully none appearance, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, keller, toffee, dark berry notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Oct 21, 2009 Tap@MessrsMaguire. Toffee and butterscotch aroma. Dark brown colour, light brown head, good lace. Malty, roasted, toffee, some chocolate. Thought the sign said it was 5.6% ABV and not 6.5%. That would make sense as it tastes and feels like a good Dunkel, not a Bock.

Appearance:Ruddy brown pour with a thin off white head.
Aroma:Caramel and fruit with chocolate.
Flavor:Toffee and caramel with an earthy finish.
Palate:Medium body with solid carbonation.
Overall:Decent swill, but not the best in their lineup.

Oct 17, 2009 A Mes rate. Cask at GBBF.
Murky brown with a slight bubbly off white head. It’s certainly bock-like. Fruity, sweet malt, some bread and alcohol with some faint apple in the finish. Amazingly fruity in the flavour actually. A fairly conviincing bock.

Sep 19, 2009 Draft pint at the brewpub. Very dark brown with a white top. Quite malty and almost
