Aug 2, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) Lovely golden beer with a decent head. Starts clear and hazes the closer you reach the huge sediment at the bottom. Very full-bodied and quite potent without being alcoholic as such. Has the typical earthy, musty artinal touch often found in Bière de Gardes. 090602

Dec 30, 2008 75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge white head. Mild malt aroma with a light butterish accent. Sweet caramel malty flavoured with a light bitterness before the finish. Smooth, light sweet and easy with a good hops/malt balance. Ends dry and hoppy.

Sep 9, 2005 Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Vegetably malty nose (very lagerish). Flavour is hoppy and malty with vegetable notes. Sweet alcohol and notes of vanilla and weak pear saves the beer. Gets very pleasant when it’s been poured for a while and gotten a few degrees warmer.

Oct 1, 2007 Bottle, 8.5%. Standard lager aroma. Not bad, but grainy and quite refreshing. Hazy golden colour. Nice, big, stable white head. The flavour is also grainy and lagery. Slightly bready, but not enough. An ale which has some OK lager properties.
