Cask at GBBF 2007. A hazy dark golden beer with a cream colored head. The aroma is sweet malty and hoppy - the latter also giving it notes of grass. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of grass, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Hoppy aroma. Golden coloured hoppy and slightly citrus with a crisp and bitter lasting finish.

Apr 3, 2008 Cask, The Black Horse, Walcote. Mellow orangey tang, pale pilsy grain and biscuit. Vanilla custard notes again. Nice, but lacking a bit of hop presence. Should have stayed on the Spotland.

Nov 23, 2007 Golden with a small lasting head. Lemon and peach in the rather weak aroma. Semi sweet, fruity flavour with a nice clean hop finish.

Nov 18, 2007 Cask conditioned - handpump - Out Of The Vaults, Leicester. Had this on the back of Oakham 3 Witches, and i’s remarkably similar in both aroma and flavour. It’s hazy gold in colour and has an off-white coloured head. Again very hoppy and very APA like. Can’t separate the two beers, they are both lovely.

Sep 12, 2007 Cask @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy / creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat.
