The Old Milwaukee brands have always stood for steadfast American quality. These masterfully crafted lagers revel in being predictably superior and uncomplicated. No gimmicks, just great tasting beer. How great? Old Milwaukee Light is the most award-winning light beer in the history of the Great American Beer Festival. Which proves that thereís nothing more refreshing than a commitment to fundamentals.

35,5cl bottle@home in lager glass@approx 5 degrees C. Thought I was drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon but was in effect drinking a re-branded Old Milwaukee which is marketed in Scandinavia! Humbug and I urge you to buy neither when the brewers cheat like that. Pours clear light yellow with finger of white head with sufficient retention. Very faint aroma of malt and corn. This is also reflected in the almost nonexistent taste. Very faint malt and hops and no off tastes makes this close to drinking water with alcohol. Refreshing on a hot day I can imagine, but what is the point of drinking virtually tasteless beer like this?

How in the hell have I gone this long without rating Old Milwaukee?
Pours a very pale gold, very clear, with a respectable enough fluffy white head that slowly works itís way into oblivion.

Aroma is surprisingly faint, itís got some corn, some dough, some tire... cool.

The flavor is sweet & corny... there is a little bit of bitey hoppiness there. The alcohol is way too prevalent for a beer with an abv so low.

more mediocre than terrible, yíknow.

Picked up a six pack from the rip and run in Carthage, Mo. Right out of the can with strong corn and metal. Light body,

12 oz. can. Tried this again yesterday for the first time in years. Used to buy this with my brother in law, 15 to 20 cases at a time when it was on sale in the 80ís. Still tastes bad, watered down.

When I go to the store, looking for a beer to get me drunk, but not to necessarily taste, I will either reach for pbr or old milwaukee. Perhaps its my awesome wisconsin roots, or perhaps its simply because they are the least offensive of all the cheap beers. Either way, grab this before you grab Coors, please, for the children.

Clear pale yellow. Quickly dissipating white head. Minimal aroma, which is a good thing here Iíd say, just some sweetness. Flavor follows. Light watery body. Of the bargain beers, this less sweet and less offensive than most of the bunch. I pick up a 12 pack every so often..cheap, easy, nothing to think about.

Pours an extremely clear almost colorless color. Has a nice head. Some lacing on the glass.

Aroma is a little more grainy than most. Itís very sweet and syrupy. Smells like some hops in there.

Taste is sweet. Sweet is followed by a hop bitterness. It seems like it has a metallic aftertaste. Thereís a lot of corn in this. Itís very watery. Heck it looks like water.

Mouthfeel is light. There is a sweet aftertaste, it comes in late and itís surprising. Itís super drinkable.

Overall, itís pretty tasty. I like it okay. Iíve had much better, Iíve had much worse. I think this is a little too light especially for a íregularí beer. Itís hard to find, but this isnít something that I would go store to store looking for. If I saw it, I would probably buy it again, because it is hard to find. I prefer Coors or Budweiser, or most any others over this, but still, itís not bad.

Seems less corny / sweet than other macro /subpremiums. Basic no frills adjunct lager that gets the job done on a hot summer day.
