| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 5, 2009 clear yellow, frothy white head, some lace. nose of grain and corn. flavor of skunky corn, perhaps some corn syrup mixed in. medium bodied, oily mouthfeel, syrupy finish. i won’t go so far as to say ’avoid’ but i probably won’t repeat (once i finish off the 6 pack i bought from liquor stop in monee). troyc (1270), OKC, Oklahoma, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Aug 5, 2009 [Bottle] Didn’t realize this beer was brewed by Miller, but I should have figured as much. Pours a light shade of yellow. A fizzy, soapy white head. Awful aroma of wet paper and skunk. Taste is mostly corn with some light grain. Even Texans (in general) don’t care for this beer. Sweet and grainy, stale stagnant water and a light cereal character. Travlr (1139), Washington, Washington DC, USA

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jul 19, 2009 Pours light, unnatural yellow with a one-finger white, fizzy head. Aroma of bready malt. Taste is all bread dough and corn; very watery after the first few seconds. Weak body and not hop presence detectable. This can be called beer by only the weakest of definitions. ronaldtheriot (69), Laplace, Louisiana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 15, 2009 Quite a good beer. A common type recipe, but a respectful beer to drink at a barbecue, rodeo, steak house, or ball game, for instance. Looks good pouring out of the brown bottle into a tall glass.
I have never seen this in the New Orleans area. I bought it in The Woodlands, Tx.

A: Yellow & Gold with a decent firm head.
S: Smells of cereal and other grain.
T: A hint of malt, cereal, and grian that is not to overpowered and not to subtle.
D: Excellent drinkability. Very smooth. Very subtle bitter taste.
