Sep 25, 2009 Bottle, 500ml. Decent dark stout pour, and off-white creamy head. Deep roast aroma, of malt, hops and notes of chocolate. Nice bite on the palate, and smooth with it.

Jul 21, 2009 Bottle from M&S. Dark brown colour, medium tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and fruits. Flavour of roasted malts, fruits, coffee. Sour and dry. Good one.

Jun 20, 2009 Nose of rust, roasted barley and apple and blackberry fruitiness. VERY deep ruby appearing pitch with a thick khaki collar speckling the glass. Robust punchy stout with big roasty cocoa and charred barley bitterness. Some oaky vanilla touches in there and a dab of blackcurrant. Very nice, and a fine example of style.

Oct 25, 2008 Near black with a slight, off-white head. Roasted malt aroma with some dark chocolate. Smooth mouth feel, with lots of roastiness, more chocolate and a touch of creaminess. Good stuff.

Very roasty and malty. Also, lots of smokiness and bitterness with a creamy finish. Pretty enjoyable.
