Bottle. Labeled as Double Champion Wheat. Pours golden amber, pure white head. Light wheat aroma, some citrus hops. Flavor is really light wheat, spicy, citric hops. Very light in body, but doesn’t feel washed out.

Good wheat. Bottle read O’Hanlons Double Champion Wheat beer. Pours hazy yellow with thick white head. Flavors of tangerine and vanilla. Good brew tough to find in Tampa.

Best before May 2006, this poured a colour rather darker than most other wheat beers I’ve had and was a bit on the hazy side as well. The head was substantial, foamy and white. Aroma was of grass and also was tart. Taste was sharp and bitter for a wheat, but sweetened up in the aftertaste. Quite a different wheat beer than I’m used to; liked it!

bottle, bought somewhere deep in rural Devon. Clear golden colour, mid-sized fluffy white head. Fruity nose. Light-bodied, malty base with lots of citrus fruit (orange, orange marmalade, lemon, tangerine). Lingering hoppy finish.
