Jul 16, 2009 Best before May 2006, this poured a colour rather darker than most other wheat beers I’ve had and was a bit on the hazy side as well. The head was substantial, foamy and white. Aroma was of grass and also was tart. Taste was sharp and bitter for a wheat, but sweetened up in the aftertaste. Quite a different wheat beer than I’m used to; liked it!

Jul 10, 2009 bottle, bought somewhere deep in rural Devon. Clear golden colour, mid-sized fluffy white head. Fruity nose. Light-bodied, malty base with lots of citrus fruit (orange, orange marmalade, lemon, tangerine). Lingering hoppy finish.
