Almost an exact replica of regular Corona, which makes this beer a success on at least one level. However. aromas and flavors are weak, and reek of corn, stale pale malts, and skunk. Not good at all.

Pours pale yellow with minimal head, okay lacing. Flavor is salty; no bitterness whatsoever. Tastes like your average cerveza. Medium carbonation. Bland. basspro76 (271), New York, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Feb 18, 2010 Water. Check that, stale water. Even an added lime can’t save this abomination to the liquid universe. fredthecat (229), Canada

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 13, 2010 Bottle. This beer pours a straw yellow color, with weak head. Aroma and flavor of grass, hay, and oats. I do like the fact that it tastes similar to corona extra, and therefore saves me calories. I notice little difference between the two, which doesn’t say much for corona extra. pumpmaster (501), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA

Isn’t Corona light enough? I recently was wrestling with this question and I wondered if I could even tell them apart. After a blind taste test I could, but neither beer are special or decent.
Poured from a bottle into a standard pint glass. No salt, Lucas, or citrus added, just the naked beer. Beer is light yellow and completely clear. No head or lacing to speak of, moderate to high carbonation made up of medium to large bubbles.
Almost no aroma. Some grains, maybe.
Gross. This beer really bothers me. It is worse than Corona Extra, that much I know from a side by side, but this beer has a terrible grainy flavor and has the consistency of water. Never again. arminjewell (479), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jan 8, 2010 Not much to say here, Corona didn’t have much taste or alcohol before now they lightened it more? Not sure how, but the straw/corn/cereal taste is a bit less and a bit more watery. No thanks. mansquito (888), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Well, the ad campaign is true... this is in fact the only light beer that is also a Corona. Has all the taste of a Corona... well maybe a little less and the negligible amount of alcohol doe not help this beer. Overall a mediocre crappy beer, but not deserving of the 0 percentile thing. BTW, I didn’t pay for this beer... rather grabbed it at a Holiday party.
