Refreshing when had cold in the summer, but a rather tame brew on the whole

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 8, 2010 Bottle via trade as an extra thanks to oach on BA. Pours a mostly clear golden-yellow color with a one-finger white head. Aroma is a lot like a pale lager, with corn and grain along with pale malt. Flavor is slightly sweet with pale malt and quite a bit of corn. Some nice fruity notes differentiate it from crappy BMC beers and the like. Clean and crisp on the palate with a smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel that works really well. Highly drinkable. This isn’t by any means an amazing beer, but it does what it sets out to and matches up well against other cream ales. This is your quintessential lawnmower beer, a good choice for a hot day when you might otherwise consider resorting to BMC. JulienHuxley (325), Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 6, 2010 Bottle from jprime (BA). Nice floral aroma (lavender), yeast, banana and lemon peel. Nice sharp hoppy bitterness, citrus and slightly malty finish, a little shy. Full and creamy palate for the style. Very enjoyable starter. Overml01 (97), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

He said this one was his favorite, but I much preffered the stone soup.
It’s a solid ale, nothing too particular to recomend in this one. But, like most cream ales, its a session beer that grew into a reasonable craft beer as well. Try it once, and then pass it on to the firends you’re trying to turn into a craft beer lover. tomthompson89 (1529), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
