| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 18, 2010 Disclaimer: A was handed this beer while studying at the library for a particularly pesky midsem, so it is quite likely that there is a great deal of comparative and situational bias in this rating. As in, compared to the midsem material this beer was the second coming of ya boy J.C. Rather minerally and carbonic in taste. It actually reminded me a lot of tonic water. Didn’t seem to have as many other cheap pale lagers-little to no metal, banana, or compost. Just refreshing minerally carbonated water really. coyforce (78), Mississippi, USA

Although extremely weak, it is very smooth and crystal clear. I believe that this beer is head and shoulders above most American macros. patrickfannon (502), Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 28, 2010 Bottle. 12 oz. Pours crystal clear yellow with a fizzy, thin white head. Aroma of wheat, hops, and corn. Light body with a thin, loose mouthfeel. Decent pale ale. Refreshing. JoeAgain (40), New Jersey, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Feb 27, 2010 Light, white head. Pale yellow color. Very little nose, and what is there, is all hops. Light hop flavor, with very little malt and some cereal grain-like taste.
A very light beer all around. When RR was brewed in Latrobe, it was a light beer - somewhat the Coors of the east - and now that it’s brewed in Newark, NJ by the guys that made Bud famous, it maintains that character.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 12, 2010 Bottle. Weak yellow color, very little aroma to speak of, and flavor is grassy and is a bit watery. But I have never had a skunky bottle, which is rare for a green bottle beer - not that there is a lot there to spoil. Its consistent and is so good ice cold on a hot day. I really like this beer, probably because it is simple. It is so easy for me to sit back and relax with this very pale lager. Bassikpoet (60), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Feb 10, 2010 Bottle at home. Pours a perfectly clear light yellow color with a pure white head that fades with the speed of a thoroughbred. Smells of sour oats and old grain. Tastes skunked with a hint of beer. THe palate is non-existent and so is the finish. With each sip you are left with a single instant of flavor followed by water.
