12 oz. bottle from my dad’s beers from around the world series. Pours very light yellow. Though very light and not all that complex. This beer is a fairly decent crisp, easy-drinking, and refreshing lager. Of all the beers in this series I thought this was one of the better ones. Definitely more fun than drinking water.

Quilmes beer is by far the best beer I have tasted. compared to Stella Artois, Brahma, Budweiser and Busch, Quilmes has better taste hands down.

On tap and bottle at my favorite Argentinian steak house. A nice gold colored brew with a minimal head formation when poured. Tastes bitter, and floral. Not something I enjoyed too much on it’s own, but great with a steak. No aroma detected.

A: The pour is about what you’d expect from a beer like this: light yellow in color with a fluffy white head that dies quickly. S: While the primary aroma is grain and corn sweetness, there actually is a bit of a spicy hop component to this. T: Like the aroma, the taste is actually not bad (especially considering what it could have been). A surprising amount of spice and hop character to go with the sweetness. M: The beer is still light and fizzy, of course. D: Really not a bad little lager. I’d much rather drink this than Bud or Coors or Miller.

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a light gold with white fizzy head. Aroma of light malt, grain and faint hop spice. Flavor has a light malt back bone, some grain, and has a light hop profile in flavor and bitter. Mouth feel is light body, watery and over carbonated. Overall, it’s tasty for what it is, easy drinking.

12oz bottle from BevMo. Sparkling yellow, thin white champagne like head. Aromas are of cooked corn, malt, and lager yeast. Flavor is of lagered, vegetable, malt, Boring. Fizzy light body.

So I guess this is the place to put my rating tho mine says quilmes argentina on it. Pour is typical pale yellow. The label is the right color any who. Has a short botllers top on it. Smell is lagerlike somewhat like a mild lion brewing contraption. Taste is lagerlike of course with some hints of hay. Decent fzz in this brew. Finish is typical pale lager, you know, lite and non offensive. Comes across with manners at least. Unbelievably, I think I feel a small amount of hop bitterness in there at the very end, nearly pilsner hiding behaind a lager tree.

Pretty average pale lager. Nothing really offensive about it but then there’s nothing too good about it either. Pours a straw yellow into the glass with a white soapy head. Grass and malt on the nose. Tastes leaves as quickly as it came. Pretty bland.
