The beer pours a light hazy brown color. The aroma is light funk with some yeast and caramel malt. The flavor is more of the same with funk, apples, other fruits and a light alcohol presence. The mouthfeel is medium, as is the carbonation level. Cavie (1750), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Feb 25, 2010 750 mL bottle, batch 2. Pours murky golden brown with a quickly dissipating head; leaves some lacing. Plenty of Brett funkiness in the aroma, pineapple, apricots, tangerines, spice. Again, the taste has the typical Brett funk, tangerines and pineapple play a big role in balancing it out with fruity sweetness. An earthy/leather quality comes in around the middle of the drink. Finishes with typical Belgian spice, oak, caramel, and citruis. Medium bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and a low level of carbonation. One of the easiest drinking beers I’ve ever had, was hard pressed to set the glass down. More body might be nice, but it’d ruin this one’s refreshing quality. Nice brew.
