I found this to be absolutely wonderful. A great spicy aroma and big bubbly head, the flavor is spicy and light. The finish is just a tad too dry but quite wonderful throughout. Even at 11 bucks a bottle, this is worth it.

Thanks to Cavie for sharing this beer. The beer pours a light hazy brown color. The aroma is light funk with some yeast and caramel malt. The flavor is more of the same with funk, apples, other fruits and a light alcohol presence. The mouthfeel is medium, as is the carbonation level.

Bottle from Hall’s. Slightly hazy light yellow/orange color. Bubbly white head. Big Belgian fruit on the nose. Yeast notes and light vegetable flavor with cologne. Taste is bitter rice with dry fruit. Finishes light sweet but holds it’s heavy wheat.

750ml thanks to cavie. Pours a hazy orangeamber body with no head. Smells of hard candy, orange zest and honeydew melon. Tastes of toffee, light bitterness, orange and candied rind fruits. Initially a fizzy/lively carbonation that gives way to a creamier, clean finish.

(750ml bottle thanks to cavie) Pours cloudy honey color, creamy bubbles. Nose of honey, oranges, and citrus hops. Taste of apricot, oranges, citrus oils but sweet, with a good syrupy finish that’s only lightly bitter.

750 mL bottle, batch 2. Pours murky golden brown with a quickly dissipating head; leaves some lacing. Plenty of Brett funkiness in the aroma, pineapple, apricots, tangerines, spice. Again, the taste has the typical Brett funk, tangerines and pineapple play a big role in balancing it out with fruity sweetness. An earthy/leather quality comes in around the middle of the drink. Finishes with typical Belgian spice, oak, caramel, and citruis. Medium bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and a low level of carbonation. One of the easiest drinking beers I’ve ever had, was hard pressed to set the glass down. More body might be nice, but it’d ruin this one’s refreshing quality. Nice brew.
