Jammy orange and doughy bread aroma. Bitter aroma is only released after swirling the glass a bit. Clear oranged amber. Strong biscuit malt, heavy earthy hops. Sticky profile, big all around, but the malt dominates and disappoints for the style, though the beer itself is good.

Such a phenomenal Double IPA. Strong aroma hits you no less than the full bodied flavor. I had this on tap at McCool’s by my house. They have a 2 pint limit, bummer. It’s very bitter but balanced, in an over-the-top way. Smooth going down all the way to last drop.

Bomber pours cloudy amber with a good spot of dissipating off white head into a tulip. Aroma of grapefruit and lemon, lime, oranges (citruisy hop profile), caramel malts, seems dry just on the nose. Starts with bitter hops blending into floral sweetness with orange, lemon, herbs, grapefruit. Finishes with dry hops, pine, balanced by caramel malts. Smooths out as it warms. Silky but fuzzy mouthfeel with mid-high body and carbonation. Both rich and refreshing, lovely.

In the bomber bottle. Pours orange with a thin to no head at all. Has a strong orange citrus aroma. The palate is an intense hop burn with a super drying finish. The beer is so strong it is actually a bit painful. Dominant flavor is of sweet candy orange slices.

Bottle shared by MrPickles - Pours a beautiful hazy deep amber with a small white head. Smells of real citrusy hops, but bolder and not as bright as I’d think. Real one-dimensional, but that dimension is pretty nice. Taste is tons of hops, grapefruity and grassy, with the bitter herbal flavor winning out. There’s light malt and caramel notes, too...balances it out a bit. It’s a bit resiny, but pleasant. Nice overall.

Bottle. Thanks to our Eugene peeps MOBE for hooking this one up. Pours a deep orange, some sediment and medium carbonation. Flavor is caramel like and slightly sweet, sugar additions are a nice complement to the deep west coast hop profile. Well done and tasty.

Bottle shipped from Oregon. Pours a cloudy honey amber with a thin layer of white head. Aroma is a mix of orange, lemon and floral notes. Flavor is a mix vanilla and floral with earthy pine notes. Body is creamy but with high carbonation.
