Commercial Description:
The 2007 Anniversary Ale features prominent usage of Cascade hops– the signature hop used in Sierra Nevada’s most popular product, Pale Ale. It is an American Style IPA with a big, fragrant pine and citrus hop aroma balanced by the sweetness of two-row pale and caramel malt. It finishes with an additional Cascade dry-hopping creating a big hop aroma Sierra Nevada fans will look forward to.

12 oz. bottle - 2009. A crisp hoppy aroma with elements of citrus. Flavor is balanced between bitter pine and citrus and a bit of caramel malt. Finish is dry and tart. There are better IPA’s (including other Sierra Nevada IPA’s), but it is a pretty solid beer.

Definitely has character. Little too bitter for me. Decent, but I’m not a huge fan.

Bottle: Light amber coloured, big off-white head, sticking to the glass, unclrar; solid piney-hoppy nose with a tinge of grapefruit, backed by sweet toasted malt; solid dry bitter flavour, medium bodied, partial sweetness detectable; slightly lingering piney-hoppy and (grape-)fruity finish with an accompanying tartness in the aftertaste. Pretty good......

Peppery, fruity nose with estery grapefruit and a touch of spiced honey. Pours a deep, coppery gold with a thin but persistant head. The flavour is - perhaps as expected - stunning. That certain Sierra Nevada je ne sais quois is there in spades (orange peel? liquored raisins? what IS that?) and leads to a loooonnnggg sweet hoppy finish that has a cripplingly moreish bittersweet linger on the back of the tongue. What can I say? It rocks.

bottle and tap numerous times over the past 3 years. I LOVE this beer! Sierra Nevada could be my fav all-time brewery. Everything they do is solid (yes, even Glissade has some good traits!). This awesome beer poors dark orange with a soft fluffy white head. Big cascade nose with pine and tropical undertones. When this is fresh, its hard to beat! nose also has a lovely yeast component. flavors are fantastic-lots of cascade hop flavors, but light bitterness-just a really soft blend of lightly toasted and pale malts, trademark SN yeast and herbal hops. This could be the perfect session beer (along with Marble Red). palate is lovely and soft with very velvety carbonation and mouthfeel. i wish this was available year round-it would always be in my fridge. outstanding! Cant wait till the next batch comes out.

bottle, 2009 vintage. Clear deep golden colour, large and creamy, very persistant head. Citrusy-spicy hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied with a solid malty base and lots of good bitter and aromatic hops, giving the beer a citrus character with a touch of spices and hints of alpine herbs. Very nice indeed.

(bottle, 35.5cl, vintage 2009) Hazy, orange-amber colour with a thick and slightly beige foamy head. Slightly yeasty and sweet malty aroma with a fruity (citrus, tangerine), nettle-spicy and piney hops. Moderately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a smooth and well-matured carbonation. .Soft (cara-)malty base with a pretty complex hops profile leading into the dry and moderately bitter finish with soft but nevertheless rounded malty accents. Very good. 20.II.10
