Polypin, Cow and Plough, Oadby. Orange, pink rose in colour. Aromas are earthy and spicy with hints of honey. Some ripe apple. Flavours are sweet apple with some woody notes. Lightly floral and quite floral. Dry on the finish. Decent.

Jul 24, 2009 Polycask at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 24/07/09. Reddish-gold in colour with no carbonation. Sweetish aroma with plenty of apple fruit and a hint of wine. Flavour was also sweet, with a balancing tart finish. Unusual and good.

May 8, 2009 Polycask at Banbury Beer Festival, Oxon, 07-05-09 Pours Pours mid gold with a nice farmy waft. This is refreshing with a good earthiness about it, touch of sweetness initially but nicely dry at the end, most enjoyable. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Oct 18, 2008 Thanet Cider and Perry Fest 08. Hazy pinky/orangey hue. Farty aroma. Good medium dry flavour, bit of sweetness. It’s a pretty easy drinking cider. Good sweetness and then drying finish.

Yellow gold colour. Pretty standard looking. Very sweet in the aroma. Juicy and puckery flavour. Quite sweet but really dry on the finish. Drinkable and enjoyable but not fantastic.

Jul 30, 2007 [Cask at Middle Farm Cider Centre] Cloudy green/orange with floating bits. Ripe apples, oak, orange blossom wild, housey character. Full bodied, slightly sweet, lots of fruit on the palate with a long, dry finish. Lovely.
