75 cl bottle, labelled 8.3 ABV. From Systembolaget, thanks to deft! BB 30 Sep 2010. Hazy dark brown to copper color, tan bubbly head. Spicy, fresh, sweet scent, a bit grassy. Spicy, stable, dry taste. Dry malty and spicy aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel. Medium low bitterness.

Mar 17, 2010 750 mL bottle, I THINK from Wine & Beer Westpark, Richmond, VA. Mild gusher. 14 Feb. 2008. Pours a hazy dark red color with a very large creamy offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of earthy and mildly tart notes, cherries and some faint toffeeish notes. Taste is bread, raisins, toffee, tart cherries and an earthy finish. Faintly tart throughout. Medium bodied. Good beer.

Mar 15, 2010 Bottle, 20 cl @ Zyhos festival, St-Niklaas. Red brown beer with a beige head. Aroma is light caramel and light sweet. Taste is bitter, light caramel, hoppy on the tongue and with a light sweetness on the background. Nice beer!

Mar 14, 2010 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear orange/brown pour with a good lasting beige head. Aromas of fresh bread, malts, chocolate, raisins, sweet spices, vanilla. Flavours of sultanas, chocolate, herbs, some coffee, candy sugars, plum pudding. Bitter-sweet finish. Good alcohol burn. Nice.

Mar 9, 2010 (bottle) pours a hazy golden-ruby colour with a frothy off-white head. sweet aroma of strawberries, caramel, cinnamon and floral hops. flavour is the same, with some notes of earth and brown sugar, quite sweet but complex and balanced. medium body with smooth carbonation and a lightly alcoholic herbal hoppy finish. nice one!

Mar 7, 2010 Pretty dark amber-redish beer. Good head, holds good. Fruity-sweet-sour smell. Strong sharpness, to sharp for me. Fruit, bitter-sour-eathy taste. A bit of a disapointment.

Mar 5, 2010 0.75 l bottle at Old Bricks Inn, Jyväskylä. Hazy brown color with creamy head. Thick sweet toffee aroma with pepper, acetic acid and some flowery-berryish notes. Thick sweet toffee flavor with meat broth, pepper, clove, bread and spicy bitterness in finish. Too thick and toffeish for my palate.
