| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 17, 2007 Cask. At 2007 Fort York TFOB. Poured cloudy orange with a wispy off-white head. I really - REALLY - dug this aroma; fresh pungent green hops, almost like just-crushed mint leaves, with a lightly grainy sweet malt pushed way into the background. The taste, well, it was pretty jagged - I confess I made a face - just a gobsmash of raw green hops, it seemed a bit soapy and acidic to me, really not balanced or blended at all - interesting, but a chore to finish my double sample. Pretty decent body - that much hop presence made it seem thick - as I said very astringent, even acidic bitter mouthfeel, long, long bitter finish and aftertaste. Kudos on that fresh hop aroma, but it proved a little harsh, almost like it waren’t quite ready; interesting. mabel (2813), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hazy, red brown body with a medium-lasting bubbly off-white head. Lemon peel hops continues in flavour, not too bitter. Medium-full body. Nice hoppy beer. blankboy (3400), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 13, 2007 Cask at TFOB 2007. Pours a hazy dark orange with a spare diminishing off-white head. Very nice aroma, quite fruity, a little spicy and very hoppy. Flavour: Hmmm, It’s either a little boozy or the hops (of which there are LOTS) aren’t properly balanced or something making it somewhat harsh -- I can drink it but I’m not sure I’d want to. Perhaps the beer is not quite ready yet? I don’t know. Average cask-like body. A nice attempt at an IIPA (it might be called a Pale Ale but it’s not what he was going for), it’s just not quite there yet. I’d love to try a less raw version in the future though. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 12, 2007 Cask sample at TFOB 2007. Hazy orange-amber with a still body. Big-ass Summit hops in the body - lots of orange/tangerine notes, with some resin and grass. Soft mouthfeel. Hops are a bit harsh in the flavour, but there’s enough malt to keep them from getting too out of hand. I think this could’ve done with another week or so in the cask before being served, but it was still pretty nice. jerc (4062), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 11, 2007 TFOB 2007 Cask. Sampled on the Friday afternoon. Hazy dark amber-brown body with a small frothy beige head. (3+) Huge hoppy aroma is very green and leafy, with moderate resin and very light grassy notes. (8+) Fairly bitter with a mouth drying hop character, bit of green leafiness, light citrus hints and resin in the flavour, malt is there balancing things but is still overshadowed by the hops. Average palate for a cask. Pretty cool, and surprisingly drinkable - I went back for more. 8/3/7-8/3/16+
