Bottled. Poured clear, pale orange with a well-retained whitish head. The aroma picked up sweet, fresh grapefruit and greener floral notes upfront over more grapefruit and some caramel.. juicy and well-presented. The flavor found caramel and bready sugars at the core.. pine, grapefruit, and floral bitterness surrounded, slight cardboard showed toward the back.. nice and spicy on the finish. Medium-bodied and quite bitter overall on the palate.. balance was very good.. complaints were few and far between with this one!

Bottle. Poured pale orange with medium white head. Full sweet citrus aroma. Flavour is citrusy, some naartjie, some grass, with a bit of a malt. Lasting hop finish. Drink this when offered.

Cloudy, dull, dark yellow. Frothy white head, big bubbles. Grassy, nutty roastedness. Bready, hoppy and very little bite in the finish.

12oz bottle, dated 3/25/09, from beverages4less. pours a hazy orange with a thin, whispy white head leaving a light ring of bubbly lace. aroma is actually pretty nice considering this one is almost a year old (not my fault) with lots of juicy, orange, tangerine, and white grapefruit citrus, light florals, and sweet, doughy, malts with a touch of caramel. flavor is still surprisingly tasty too with sweet, pithy, orange citrus, mild pine and grasst hop notes, and a touch of apricot with light, biscuity malts coming in late. palate is medium bodied with a nice, bitter hop finish. overall, i really want to try this one fresh if its held up this nicely for almost a year.

Mild haze, orange hue. Sticky lacing. Looks appealing but no more entrancing than any other well-crafted IPA. Smells nice! Marmalade and toffee up front with grapefruity hoppiness. A little sweet in the beginning. Nice, cleansing bitterness in middle and finish. VERY enjoyable. Par with Sculpin, a wee bit less than Squall and 90min.

great beer with complex hop flavor, pine notes from the simcoe double dry hopped for even more aroma!

A brilliant medium golden-yellow beer with a dense white head. Nice biting hop aroma followed by an equally powerful hop taste with piney overtones. All those hops still balance nicely with the firm malt body making this an easy drinking IPA.

Pale golden orange pour ... off white head light citrusy hop aroma and a taste of sweet malts and citrusy hops with a bite of bitter hops at the finish ... a mellow and very balanced ipa and very sessionable .... abv hidden well .... a solid IPA
