Dark mahogany body with a thin off-white film for a head. Small traces of sudsy lacing. Aroma showed roasted barley, chocolate, light coffee, and some vanilla. Flavor was along those same lines, with a very creamy, roasty feel throughout. A decent amount of hop bitterness adds a nice element. The body is smooth, though a bit on the watery side. Dry roasted grains show through again in the finish. Nice, easy drinking stout.

Courtesy of argo0. Clear dark brown body with a small tan head. The nose is light sweet with roast, cola, caramel and light dark fruit. The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter with chocolate, toffee, raisins and brown sugar. Medium body is slightly thin with moderate carbonation.

Courtesy beerlando! Thanks Bryan! Pours a dark brown with a small light tan head. Smells of mild roasty chocolate, cream, and bread. Definitely seems a little too mild for an imperial stout. The body actually seems thicker than it appears. Big roast and bitter chocolate make up the flavors. Mild chocolate bitterness makes up most of the aftertaste and finish. Maybe a little light for he style, but pretty solid.

Pours a one finger light tan head that fades quickly, leaving a little lace. Almost black color, faint mahogany highlights. Good carbonation and heavy bodied. Chocolate nose. Flavor is smooth chocolate with a slight baker’s chocolate finish. $5.99 for a 500ml bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT. Stamp on bottom of bottle has brew date of Feb 26.

Shared, thanks to joemcphee. Brown pour with reddish hint. Aroma is roasted caramel malt, chocolate, and dishwater. Flavor is sweet malt and caramel at first, but then it turns to some sort of bitter earthy malt that I didn’t really like. Thin body.

Bottle courtesy of joepais poured into a tulip. Pours a deep chocolate brown, almost black, with a huge creamy tan head that showed great retention and good lacing. The aroma is much sweeter than I expected with some dark chocolate malts and only faint hints of coffee. The taste follows the aroma with a milky chocolate sweetness on top of roasted malts. The mouthfeel is highly carbonated and fairly light. This is a decent stout but not one that stands out in any way.

Pours light for a stout, more of a brown color. Very balanced. Hoppy bitter finish, not overbearing. Pleasantly surprised, a very drinkable stout.
