Commercial Description:
Editor's note: Voted best new beer 2007 by the Danish Society of Beer Enthusiasts.

English: Imperial Stout is a dark and rich beer with a beautiful dark cream coloured head. It’s brewed from several types of roast malts and conditioned on oak, which adds to the heavy body. The Imperial Stout has a strong and growing aftertaste of coffee, bitter chocolate and vanilla. Suited for game, strong cheeses and chocolate desserts. Or may be enjoyed alone in a cognac snifter in front of the fireplace.

Bottle. High brown and creamy lasting head. Pitch black body. Intense and good coffee cocoa aroma. Flavor as indicated by the aroma coffee cocoa with a pleasant hops bitterness disguising the high alcohol percentage very well. Low carbonation and a long aftertaste.

Bottle: Pours a very nice full black beer with a very small beige head, that tumbles down easy. Smells of good, deep and dark roasted hops, coffee, roasted coffee beans and other roasted ingredients. Taste a lot of black bitterness, chocolate, coffee, espresso, roasted malts and some burned sugars. Perfectly balanced and a good body. A very pleasant, good tasting, beautiful colored and lovely smelling Imperial Stout.

Not too bad, some nice chocolate and dark fruits, a tiny bit astringent from the bitter dark chocolate. finish is rather sweet and a bit vegetal.

Thick brown lasting foam. Dark malty aroma with some chocolate. Mild chocolate taste that was just perfect to our chocolate nut cake.

A nice imperial stout. Very balanced, nothing exeptional really. Taste of dark chocolate and a bit of roasted barley and wood.
